Great Idea for Innkeepers with Blogs
Written by Jay Karen on March 20, 2008 – 1:33 pmStan and Susan Rosen, innkeepers at Hampton Terrace in Lenox, MA, posted something on their blog> that I found interesting – they’re coming to the PAII Conference & Trade Show. And they wrote briefly about it in the context of keeping up with the latest trends. I think that’s a GREAT thing to let customers know.
Many PAII members put the association logo on their websites to demonstrate a commitment to their industry, which is great. Hopefully it says to your website visitors, “this innkeeper is involved in his or her profession, so this inn is probably gonna be good.”
Sharing that you’re attending your profession’s conference, I think, is taking that one step further…and a blog is the perfect place to mention it.
Nice thinking, Stan and Susan!

One of the best ways innkeepers can market and promote their bed and breakfasts is to maintain a blog. To that end, I started a new blog dedicated to finding and profiling bed and breakfast blogs. I intend for my blog to become the place to go for travelers looking to find B&B blogs and for innkeepers to promote their blogs.
You can visit my blog at:

I welcome any and all B&B blogs that you know of.
Best,
Thomas
