Nice work to Heather and OBBG. The OBBG blog has TONS of content. That is fantastic.

Sarah - it's great to see you blogging. I read on your blog about the new proposed 10% lodging tax. Keep us posted on that!

Jay

Hey Jay. I hope to see you soon.
You spoke to our group last May, and both you and Jeff from InsideOut harped on us to blog, and I am now.

I blog on a local site, the Duke City Fix. They are nationally recognized as being one of the best city blog/forum sites. I was lucky last week and a local ABC affiliate called about a blog post and asked me to do an interview for their news. It aired at 6 and 10pm. Great advertising.

I don't blog as often as I should. I find it hard to talk about nothing. But when I need to I spout off I do. I do not know how to measure the effectiveness realistically, but I doo get a lot of hits coming from this blog site.
http://www.dukecityfix.com/profile/AdobeNidoBedBreakfast

In part thanks to you, Jay, the Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast in Joseph, OR, has taken on blogging with a vengance. We feel this is one smart avenue we can pursue in this changing economic environment that will reach the greatest audience.

We further spread this blogging enthusiasm to the Oregon Bed & Breakfast Guild, where three OBBG-member bloggers are creating their own content and channeling the content of our nearly 90-strong membership into 25 different searchable blogs.

You'll find us at blog.bronzeantler.com and
blog.obbg.org

Thanks for the thoughts--Heather Tyreman, Bronze Antler B&B, Joseph, OR
