Click on the link below to be directed to the video.</p>
<p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/living/2008/11/05/frommer.travel.obama.cnn"><img style="float:left;width:320px;cursor:hand;height:182px;margin:0 10px 10px 0;" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qnsjRKbuXjw/SRxb1bpIMzI/AAAAAAAAAKg/NNPsgeua4o0/s320/CNN.jpg" border="0" /></a></p>

<p><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"></p>
<p>Our industry could use all the travel-friendly people in Washington we can get. There is certainly a need to balance our national security interests with our economic interests, and I hope President Obama will continue to remember the economic impact of travel. He was a strong supporter in the Senate. The Travel Industry Association (of which PAII is a dues-paying member) <a href="http://www.tia.org/pressmedia/pressrec.asp?Item=918"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">has been doing a great deal of work</a><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"> to ensure the travel industry and tourism promotion are front-burner items.</p>
<p>Thanks for the email, Marti! </p>
